For those of you who’ve played Goat Simulator, you’ll likely be aware of all of the various secrets and gaming-related Easter eggs found amongst the games world, and the latest of which is a nod to the infamous cow level which was first discovered in Blizzard’s Diablo. In Goat Simulator’s new MMO patch, this cow level has of course been taken to the extreme and sees the player being hounded by gangs of cows with lasers. Lovely.

The secret cow level, first spotted in Diablo II was the result of players creating a portal by combining Wirt’s Leg and a Tome of Town Portal in the Horadric Cube, this took players to a secret level filled with bipedal cows, also known as Hell Bovines, and a boss character called the Cow King. This level was never confirmed or denied by Blizzard but quickly became an internet legend, so much so that Coffee Stain Studios has put their own Moo Moo Farm into their own game.

One YouTuber by the name of l3ardoc discovered the level for himself and put his adventures on YouTube, the result of which you can see above.

Have you discovered the not-so-secret Cow Level? What are your thoughts?
