Last week Ubisoft unveiled what’s said to be one of the biggest patches for Assassin’s Creed Unity which is set to fix most of the horrible bugs and glitches that plagued the latest-generation Assassin’s Creed release which launched last month. Unfortunately for those hoping to put a face to the bulging eyes and lips of some of the characters in the game, they’re going to have to wait a little longer as Ubisoft is putting the update on hold until “we can give you the improvements we’ve promised.”
Though the update was supposed to launch earlier this week, many who were waiting to download the patch saw nothing and heard nothing until Ubisoft released a statement the following day. The statement reads:
“As stated last week, we’d expected to release the patch today (and we know that many are anticipating its release), but we are choosing to hold off until we can give you the improvements we’ve promised. We are committed to delivering major performance improvements, which requires that we refurbish the Paris map and that will take a few more days to hit the high level of quality our players deserve.”
So it looks like an even heftier update is on the way, as soon as Ubisoft have refurbished Paris, that is.
We’re all hoping that it really will be a “few days” until the patch rolls out, the last thing we’d want is to be waiting for the patch until the new year..
