“SIR! I’m reporting high levels of sass!” There’s really nothing more I need to add to this post. Seriously, I’m in stitches.
Disney has this week released the second trailer for their upcoming “emotional” movie, Inside Out, which focuses on the emotions behind a small family who have been uprooted from their Midwest life to a new life in San Francisco. The movie shows how all three family members are guided by their emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith).
Each of these “emotions” live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley (the little girl of the family) and their parent’s mind, where they help advise her and her family through everyday life.
As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school and the new trailer is just an example of how this all plays out.
It’s absolutely hilarious and we’ve only got seven months until we’ll be able to see it as Inside Out opens in UK cinemas on July 24, 2015.
