Samsung could officially announce the Galaxy A7 in South Korea next month.
According to Ruliweb, the company will unveil it along with the A5 on January 14. The A5 and the A3 are currently available in China.
The site also gives details of the A7’s specs. We can expect a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display at 1920 x 1080 resolution, an octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It’ll also have a 2,600 mAh battery, Android 4.4, a 13MP back camera, 5MP front and will weigh 140g.
In comparison to the A5, the A7 marks an improvement in some areas. The A5 only has a 5-inch screen at 1280 x 720 resolution and a quad-core processor but is lighter at 123g. However, if Ruliweb is correct, the A7 and the A5 will be the same in terms of camera megapixels, storage and RAM.
