This week saw the launch of Evolve, the massive four versus one multiplayer shooter which pits four hunters against one massive beast of a monster. Though times have been a little rocky, and there’s a fair bit of controversy surrounding the game’s DLC, the game seems to be doing well for itself, at least that’s what Evolve’s developer Turtle Rock has revealed in a Tweet this week.
Since launching on Tuesday, the game has seen a total (so far) of 1.2 million players, and out of those players and all of the games that they have played, the standings between hunters and monsters remains pretty close with hunters winning more games by as little as 0.1 per cent.
From what we’ve played so far, despite some difficulties connecting to games, Evolve is a hell of a lot of fun, you can expect to read our review next week now we’ve had a good play through. So stay tuned for that!
