Sources say Apple is gearing up to release the Apple Watch in early April.
It looks as though Apple will focus its next event on March 9 on the Apple Watch with a view of releasing the device a month later.
According to a ‘reliable’ MacRumors source, the company will start to move the watch to distribution points in America in the first few days of April. This will mean that the release could be between April 6 and April 10.
Apple first unveiled the new smartwatch back in September 2014. Since then, the only clarity we’ve heard about the release date was in January. Tim Cook said the Watch would be available from April but did not say a specific date.
The event next month will tell us the prices for the Watch, Watch Sport and Watch Edition and the official release date. According to rumours, the entry level option will cost around £300. Apple will be live streaming the conference, so people will be able to watch it at home.
