Tickets for EGX 2015 are set to go on sale two weeks from today! Get excited!

EGX 2015 will be the first time EGX makes its way out of its old home of Earl’s Court in London for the much, much larger NEC in Birmingham. And if the new setting alone isn’t enough to get you excited (it is for us as we’re located in the Midlands) then you’ll be excited to hear that tickets go on sale on Friday, March 20.

With EGX Rezzed around the corner, you’re probably not thinking about what you’ll be doing in September, but if London is a pain in the ass to get to, and Birmingham is more in reach, then get pumped, get your bank cards ready, and mark your calendars to grab your tickets for the UK’s biggest gaming event, EGX 2015.

Once again the event is powered by Virgin Media, and is set to contain more game than you’ll be able to play in the four days it’ll be running for (that’s a challenge and a half!) Tickets will go on sale at 11:00 GMT (12:00 CET) on Friday, March 20.

In addition to all of the games you’ll be able to get hands-on with, YouTube creators Yogscast will be there too bringing their personality to the event, meeting fans, producing EGX content, and offering tips to budding YouTube creators.

“We’re thrilled to be supporting the UK’s number one games event”, said Mark Turpin, CEO of Yogscast. “This year at EGX the Yogscast team will be producing extensive content, meeting fans and passing on our YouTube skill and knowledge”.

EGX 2015 will be held at the NEC in Birmingham from 24-27 September.

David Lilley, Managing Director of Gamer Events, added; “This year’s EGX will be the biggest games event in UK history, both in terms of scale and scope. For consumers this means over 1000 screens of playable games, a boatload of insightful developer sessions, upwards of 10 headline features such as Yogscast’s showing, eSports, cosplay and more. For exhibitors, EGX offers the perfect platform to engage with customers, announce products and showcase the latest game developments. We’re very excited about our new home at the NEC, which means EGX is now in the perfect location; the heart of the UK”.

Stay tuned to the EGX 2015 website for more news and to purchase tickets when they go live in two weeks time.
