Rockstar Games is currently hard at work fixing GTA V Heists server issues.. they better hurry.
Three hours we were trying to access Grand Theft Auto last night and still we didn’t get a chance to dive into the GTA V Heists which launched yesterday. Thankfully Rockstar are on the case, but can they really solve problems which have plagued the online portion of the game since launch?
If you too struggled to get either on Grand Theft Auto Online or just couldn’t start the GTA V Heists, then you’re not alone and Rockstar are hurrying to find a fix. It seems the problem affected all versions of the game with Xbox Live users being worse off.
“We are aware of some issues today with players having problems connecting to GTA Online, as well as issues with the Xbox Live service,” Rockstar said in a statement published on its support website. “We are working to restore full access to GTA Online as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please stay tuned to this page to monitor the performance of all platforms.”
All versions of the game seem to be up and running, but an Xbox Live status alert has been issued for Xbox 360 players for downloading items you’ve already bought. Following the system status alert, Xbox Support posted this:
“Hey Xbox members, if you are having difficulties trying to download Themes and Gamer pics, we’re aware of the issues and are working hard to get them resolved ASAP. Thank you for being patient! We’ll post another update as soon as we have more information.”
It also seems the Rockstar Support account on Twitter is taking a bashing too.
How was your GTA V Heists experience last night? Did you manage it, or were you struggling just like us?
