Following a torrent of leaks, HTC has all but confirmed the existence of the HTC One M9+ with launch event invite
With various leaks and rumours floating around to suggest that HTC might have a much bigger version of the HTC One M9 in the works, the Korean company has this week announced a launch event for a new device, which looks remarkably like the device seen in several leaks. Could it be for the HTC One M9+?
The invite to the launch event, which is set to take place on April 8, features the tagline “More than One,” which could either suggest that there’s more than one HTC One M9, or the device itself will be more than the One M9. Either way, a new device is set to be announced in Beijing on April 8, and it looks to include the dual-camera setup introduced on the HTC One M8, but was removed on the M9. The invite also shows off a new circular camera, and it could be much bigger too.
So far, rumours about the HTC One M9+ say that it’ll include a much larger screen, the dual camera setup will return, and it’ll also come with a fingerprint scanner nestled in amongst on of the Boom Sound speakers. So mark your calendars for April 8, as something big is coming.
