HTC officially announced the HTC One M9 earlier this week, but we have not heard anything about the rumoured higher-end version, the M9 Plus. @upleaks released the specs of the device on February 27 and now images of it have appeared.

Mobilissimo, NWE and @upleaks have given us an idea of what it’ll look like and it’s very similar to M9. The significant difference in appearance is the shape and size of the camera.

However, the M9 Plus is going to offer you some upgraded specs and a bigger screen. The display is 5.2-inches at a resolution of 1440 x 2560 compared to 5-inches at 1080 x 1920 on the current M9. In addition, it has a MediaTek 2.0GHz octa-core processor in one version and a Snapdragon 810 in another. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, BoomSound speakers and a fingerprint scanner.

These specs match with what @upleaks released last month, although the leaker also said it’ll have a 2840 mAh battery. In addition, this device will be an Asian market exclusive and the Snapdragon 810 version, which was intended for EMEA and the US, has been cancelled. @upleaks also said the phone would have a duo camera on the back at 20.7MP and 2.1MP but these new images only show one.
