Octodad: Dadliest Catch is coming to Xbox One, developer Young Horses has announced.
Flobbles, or to flobble. That’s a new word I made up just for this post that I believe accurately describes how Octodad moves around. Think about it.. It’s perfect! Anyway, Octodad, everyone’s favourite cephalopod is coming to Xbox One by way of [email protected], Microsoft’s self publishing initiative for indie developers.
Young Horses shared the news this weekend on Twitter, revealing that Octodad: Dadliest Catch, the sequel to their popular Octodad game, will be coming to Microsoft’s console this summer.
For those who don’t know, Octodad is an octopus living as a human in a bizarre world where his family don’t see him as an octopus, but as a father. At least, I think he’s an octopus? Anyway, complete with bizarre controls, players must control Octodad and his appendages through a series of scenarios, while at the same time remaining as close to a real human dad as possible.
Check out the Xbox One announcement trailer above, or below.. It’s up to you. I’m not going to tell you what to do.
