PC gaming will be getting a bigger presence than ever at E3 this year with the first PC event.
Without a doubt E3 always has massive presence from both Sony, Microsoft, and sometimes Nintendo, as the three companies discuss the future of both the titles they’re working on and their consoles. During this time we occasionally hear news on PC games from publishers like Ubisoft and EA, but usually consoles are at the forefront of the event.
PC Gamer hope to change that however with the first PC focussed press conference at E3. The PC Gaming Show, run by PC Gamer, will take place on June 16 from 5pm to 8pm PDT, which in UK time is.. wait for it.. from 1am to 4am. Bloody great. It’s set to be hosted by eSports commentator Sean ‘Day’ Plott and will take place at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles and of course will be streamed on Twitch.
The show itself is set to feature “new game reveals, updates on beloved series, and perspectives from key PC developers.” Set to attend the PC focussed event are AMD, Square Eni, Blizzard, Paradox, Bohemia Interactive, Devolver Digital, and Cliff Bleszinksi. You can check out more information on the show’s website.
So it looks like this year’s E3 is going to be absolutely mental. I’m looking forward to it.
