2K Games has begun teasing their “soon-to-be announced new triple-A title”, currently known as Advent

2K Games, the publisher behind titles such as Borderlands and Civilization are teasing a brand new title which is likely to be announced at E3 next month. Currently going by the name “Advent”, the new title which is being teased by the publisher looks to be a new RTS city building game.

Details about the game are pretty thin at the moment as all we have to go by are a series of cryptic tweets and a teaser website for the game which looks to have been hacked in-character. The teaser website teases a brighter tomorrow involving a dystopic future in which prospective patrons are promised a healthy, stable, and comfortable existence. Though it’s glitchy, hacked appearance reveals that it might be a little more sinister than that.

No platforms or gameplay information is actually revealed, but it looks like it could either be a new entry into the Civilization franchise, which is debatable considering Beyond Earth launched not too long ago. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of 2K also told investors last week that “a soon-to-be announced new triple-A title from 2K,” was on the cards so this will likely be a new game entirely.

With E3 set to take place in just a few weeks time, chances are we’ll find out much more then if not a little beforehand.

Thanks, Polygon.
