AmpliTube 4 Shreds onto iOS Bringing Loops and More

AmpliTube 4, the latest version of the number one mobile guitar and bass tone studio for iOS brings a virtual Cab Room, a 4-track Looper and much more

IK Multimedia has this week announced the launch of AmpliTube 4, the latest version of their impressive guitar and bass studio for iOS which adds a number of improvements and feature’s from the desktop version of AmpliTube. This version is set to be the most definitive edition of the mobile app which has been redesigned and re-engineered to provide even better sound than before and a more player-friendly experience.

AmpliTube 4 is set to come with a brand new interface, organisational tweaks, and other improvements, as well as the addition of a new digital signal processor, the very same DSP found in AmpliTube 3 Custom Shop for PC and Mac; a brand new “Can Room” which lets users mic-up cabinets in 3D with up to two microphones to fine-tune the sound coming from the amps. In addition to this there’s a further 16 new microphones for musicians to purchase.

If that wasn’t enough, AmpliTube 4 comes with a brand new feature, a four-track Looper that allows players to create looped tracks on the go. Guitarists and Bassists can now also choose to have six stomp-boxes on their setup rather than four, with four slots coming before the amplifier, and two after.

Musicians who have purchased gear in past AmpliTube versions will, as always, be able to transfer it between past and new versions on both iPhone iPad, and iPod Touch.

AmpliTube 4.0 is available to purchase on iTunes now for iPhone and iPod Touch and iPad £14.99.
