Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was announced just yesterday and already Ubisoft has highlighted the pre-order bonuses and special editions

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set to be an epic single player adventure set in London during the Industrial Revolution. Players will take the role of twins Jacob and Evie Frye as they rule over the criminal underworld taking on both the Templars and rival gangs. Chances are from the reveal trailer and the information revealed about the game you’ve already decided whether you’re buying it or not. So if you are, this is what you can get!

The game is set to come with two standard editions, one that comes with a pre-order bonus, another that’ll come loaded with the pre-order bonus and the game’s Season Pass, and an exclusive outfit. So, for every pre-order, players will receive the Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy Mission that actually includes two missions that focus around two of Britain’s most famous men, Charles Darwin, and Charles Dickens. For Darwin, players will need to defend his discoveries from those willing to kill to keep him quiet, the Dickens mission will once again have you offering protection to keep people from killing him.

The Gold Edition, which is the second Standard Edition mentioned above, will unlock the Season Pass, the above Dickens and Darwin mission, and finally an exclusive Baker Street outfit. The Gold Edition will set you back an additional £20 at £69.99.

As for Special Editions, there are three on offer. A Special Edition, a Rooks Edition, and Charing Cross Edition. The Special Edition is an odd one as it’ll cost you £59.99 and will come with the above Darwin and Dickens mission, which is free for all pre-orders anyway. Presumably this is for those who plan to pick up the game without a pre-order..

The next edition is the Rooks Edition which will come with the game, an exclusive box, a map of London and a poster, an exclusive Art Book, the official soundtrack for the game, the Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy Mission, and the Runaway Train mission. Unfortunately no details were revealed on what the Runaway Train mission involves.

Finally the biggest special edition of all is the Charing Cross Edition that’ll bag you not only the game, the map, the missions and the soundtrack mentioned above, you’ll also get yourself an exclusive collector’s box and probably the best part of all, a Jacob Cross-Road Figure. Though as far as I recall, the game contains two protagonists?

Surprisingly none of the editions mentioned above cost more than £80 which isn’t too bad. Also, a reminder for those in the UK, the Special Edition and the Charing Cross Edition are available exclusively at GAME.

So, which edition will you be grabbing?
