Catlateral Damage is coming to wreck shit while you’re not looking next week
First person cat simulator Catlateral Damage is launching on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam on May 27 putting you firmly in the fur of a cat who just loves to destroy things. Though you’re probably wondering exactly what the game is all about, right?
Well if you have a cat, you know how much they love to destroy things, mostly when you’re not around, but usually when you’re staring them point blank in the face. Many times I’ve had a stand-off with one of our cats as they slowly paw something off the unit while staring me dead in the face. Fucking cats.
Now, with Catlateral Damage, you can see what all the fuss is about as you’re put in the role of a cat whose owners are coming home soon. Your mission is to destroy as much as you can before they get back. The fun is endless as the game will contain procedurally generated levels as well as bonus levels like a supermarket and what looks to be a museum… Uh oh. The game also includes unlockable cats, power-ups, collectibles and more.
The game was initially developed by Chris Chung as part of a first person game jam, 7DFPS. Due to the game’s popularity, Chung then headed to Kickstarter to launch the game fully along with Fire Hose Games, and now it’s almost being released.
