Focus Home Interactive and Larian Studios has today unveiled the console edition of 2014’s most talked about RPG: Divinity: Original Sin
Last year a little RPG called Divinity: Original Sin had critics and gamers alike flapping their gums about this new RPG. Even we gave it one of our top marks of 4.4 saying that the game is almost a “mastery of everything it sets out to do”, so with that glowing recommendation it’s no surprise the game is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. But wait, there’s more. The game isn’t just coming to consoles as a standard port. Oh no, it’ll be launching as the Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition.
Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition is set to launch with the base game, and a host of new content and enhanced content, naturally. Some of the “enhanced content” will include a new user-interface tailored for controllers as well as dynamic split-screen. It’ll also come with full voiced and remastered AAA dialogues featuring Alix Wilton Regan and Alec Newman. If that wasn’t enough, it’ll also be getting new content in the form of quests, combat-styles, locations, and more.
More details are expected to be announced over the coming months, but will be making an appearance at E3 next month with their own Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition booth.
It’ll be interesting to see who’s sizzle reel the game will appear on, if at all.
