The new Dying Light DLC boasts a new mode and area, which you can play either alone or with friends
Techland have given us some new information and a short teaser trailer for Dying Light’s new DLC that is set to release on May 26.
The new DLC titled, The Bozak Horde, adds a new horde mode type that pits you against waves of enemies in the previously inaccessible Harran Stadium. As far as we can tell from the video, you were placed there against your will by someone known as Bozak and by the looks of it, he’s set up a leg trap of some sort to force you to fight. The leg trap combined with the creepy voice and ominous mask, it gives me a sort of SAW vibe, which makes me very excited for it.
You can choose to play this one alone or with friends, although I feel the co-operative experience would fit well with this, especially since Techland have said it has been “designed with co-op gameplay in mind.” As an added bonus, if you manage to hold off the horde, you are rewarded with a compound bow, which has been described as “the ultimate stealth weapon” and if you decide to complete further objectives, you can unlock new arrow types such as incendiary, explosive and electricity.
Personally, I’m excited to give this one a try, hopefully with a few friends rather than all on my lonesome. The DLC will release on May 26, as part of the season pass or by itself for £6.99.
