The latest trailer for God of War 3 Remastered shows off the game in all its remastered glory

With pre-orders for the remaster of God of War 3 opening up ahead of its July 17 release, Sony has unleashed a new trailer showing off one of the game’s epic boss battles in action. But this isn’t just any old trailer, this iron spike and chain hook-filled trailer is in glorious 1080p with a framerate of 60 frames per second. Ooohh.

Sony has also detailed that the new remaster will come with a Photo Mode allowing players to take some pretty spectacular shots of the game in action, freezing the brutal action mid-battle and tweak a ton of camera and lighting options to create the perfect snapshot.

In addition to the new trailer, Sony also revealed a pretty interesting pre-order bonus for North American players. Those who pre-order the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be able to catch up on the first titles beforehand with an exclusive first-of-its-kind incentive – a free 90-day PlayStation Now pass for God of War and God of War 2. Players will also receive the Fall of Olympus dynamic theme for their consoles too.

Unfortunately Europeans will only get the theme as an incentive.. Sorry.
