BoJack Horseman, the animated Netflix series starring Wil Arnett and Aaron Paul, will return for a second season on 17 July
BoJack Horseman is a show about a washed-up equine sitcom star from the ’90s set in a world where anthropomorphic animals and humans live side by side. BoJack (voiced by Wil Arnett) is bitter and twisted since his show, Horsin’ Around, ended, and plans his big comeback with a tell-all biography.
The second season finds BoJack smack in the middle of a new dream project, where he struggles to learn from the events of season one.
“If season one of BoJack Horseman is about a character learning he needs to change, the new season is about whether or not he can,” reads a statement from Netflix. “It’s a character in a rut, trying to pull out of that rut, and the rut pulling back.”
The second season boasts 12 episodes, which will all be released at the same time, as is Netflix’s way.
The second season will feature “lots of surprise guest stars and funny talking animal jokes,” according to Netflix.
Big thanks to Polygon for the news.
