Remedy’s Quantum Break won’t be appearing at E3 next week, instead will be shown more at Gamescom.

For those wanting to see more of Remedy’s incredibly story driven video game, Quantum Break, you’ll have to wait until much later this year as the developers have revealed that the Xbox One exclusive won’t be making an appearance at E3 this year.

The next update for the time-bending title will be coming at Gamescom, Remedy’s chief creative officer Sam Lake revealed in a YouTube video. Details as to why they’re skipping E3 are unknown but elsewhere in the video, Lake notes that it’s the company’s 20th anniversary this autumn and that they’re looking for one super fan to come and join them in Finland. Details of which can be seen in the video.

Remedy have been pretty quiet on the Quantum Break front, we know very little about the game other than some of its mechanics and the story of the game. We were certainly hoping to see more at E3 next week, but sadly we’re going to have to wait.

Gamescom takes place in Cologne on August 5 to August 9.
