In yet another leak for the week (a phenomenon which is becoming more and more common it seems!), footage has come to light of two new characters to be announced for Super Smash Bros. for both WiiU and 3DS.
According to a report on Nintendo Everything, the leak is courtesy of an early patch that went live in Japan, and though suspected for some time, we now have confirmation that Ryu from Street Fighter and Roy from the Fire Emblem series will be playable characters in Super Smash Bros. The leaked information also indicates a raft of other exciting features which will be coming to Super Smash Bros. in the future and no doubt there will be some reveals in the pre-E3 Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Direct which is happening a bit later today (we’ll be covering it, so keep an eye on our site and social media feeds).
There will also be Ryu and Roy themed stages, moves, trophies and costumes, as well Tekken, Virtua Fighter, MegaMan and Animal Crossing costumes, Splatoon trophies, and a bunch more. You can check out the Nintendo Everything article for the full list, but here are some pics to whet your appetite!
