The device was officially announced this week in Taiwan and features a lot of the specs that were leaked at the end of last month.
It has a 5-inch screen at 1280 x 720 resolution, a Snapdragon 410 processor clocked in at 1.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 2420 mAh battery. In terms of the camera, it has a 5MP front one and an 8MP back one. You’ll also find all the usual bells and whistles with the main camera such as a fast lens and slow lens modes, HDR, double exposure and filters. The phone runs ColorOS 2.1 like the Oppo R7, although this one is based on Android 5.1.
What’s more interesting about the Mirror 5s is its design. It features a crystal pattern on the back but has the durability to back that up. It’s made with an internal metal frame, meaning that it shouldn’t be a fragile as it may appear.
There’s no information regarding price or where it’ll be available but the mid-range specs should mean a corresponding price.
