Doctor Who is a confusing topic, though the Doctor looks different, he’s always the same person, or something. Regeneration? I think that’s the word, right? I have no idea. But fans of the long-running series will be pleased to know that in LEGO Dimensions, all of the Doctor’s will feature in the game.

Warner Bros. toys-to-life game, LEGO Dimensions features cameos from a lot of fan favourite series, such as Portal, Back to the Future, and of course, Doctor Who, the latter of which is the star of the game’s latest trailer.

First off, Warner Bros. has revealed that Peter Capaldi, who plays the 12th Doctor, Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara Oswald, and Michelle Gomez, who plays Missy, will voice their respective characters in the game, which is pretty awesome, right?

Next, the trailer itself represents just how crazy LEGO Dimensions can become, with the TARDIS popping up in Gotham city, and The Doctor battling it out along side Homer Simpson. What is this madness?

This is the first time Doctor Who has starred in a LEGO game, and with the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack players will be able to dive right in with the Doctor with a complete Doctor Who level starring the game’s heroes and notable enemies such as the Cybermen, Daleks, and more.

If that’s not enough for you, an additional LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack will be available to purchase that’ll include more levels and a LEGO minifigure of the 12th Doctor, as well as models for the TARDIS and K-9, all of which are playable within the game. The interesting part of the game however is when the 12th Doctor is defeated. He’ll then regenerate as the 1st Doctor and will eventually regenerate as the 12th Doctor once again.

Finally, there’s a Doctor Who Fun Pack, which includes a playable Cyberman minifigure and Dalek model that, as we all know, can be built and rebuilt twice meaning there’s a total of three different objects to be made.
