The M9+ launched in early April as an exclusive in China but now HTC is branching out to Europe. However it appears as though the UK is going to miss out. The news was apparently “confirmed to TechRadar by a HTC spokesperson”.
The device features a 5.2-inch screen at 2560 x 1440 resolution and a Mediatek MT6795T octal-core processor clocked in at 2.2GHz. Its predecessor, the M9 had a slightly smaller 5-inch screen and a Snapdragon 810 processor in comparison.
The M9+ brought back the dual camera from the M8 at 20MP + 2.1MP and its front camera is 4MP. It also added a fingerprint scanner but kept the same internal storage and RAM of 32GB and 3GB respectively. Its battery is also the same size as the M9, 2840 mAh.
There’s no news as to the release dates and the prices for the device though. However the fact HTC has branched out to Europe may now suggest that other markets could be on the way in the future too, like the USA maybe?
