Xbox One owners get game streaming with Windows 10

Microsoft have announced that new game streaming features revealed last month will now be available to any Xbox One owners who have a Windows 10 PC or tablet.  The Xbox One app is also in the process of getting an update, which will unlock a bunch of new gaming and social features.  The app is expected to be updated in the next few days, and some of the features include:

  • Party Chat: Invite your friends to chat together on Windows 10
  • My Games: Automatically lists your Windows Store games in your game collection. You can also add games manually
  • Share with your friends: Upload your local game clips and screenshots to your collection
  • Profile and Avatars: Customise your profile and use an Avatar or gamerpic to represent yourself online (yes, you can take your own pic)

Users need the latest version of Windows 10 installed to take advantage of these new features and the app will automatically update to the new version when it is officially released.
