Though Devil’s Third has already been confirmed for release in August for Europe and Japan, a North American release date has been all but unknown since its disappeared from the Nintendo eShop and never made an appearance at E3 earlier this year. Thankfully, Nintendo of America has confirmed that the game will be launching in the Americas for Wii U in the fourth quarter of this year.
Nintendo of America will be publishing the game on Wii U and will be released both at retail and through the Nintendo eShop. According to Nintendo, the game is an “over-the-top, third-person action shooter that combines modern military weaponry with ninja-style swordplay and melee combat.”
It’ll also be coming to PC too as Tomonobu Itagaki’s Valhalla Game Studios will be publishing a “free-to-start” PC version that’ll “offer a multiplayer experience tailored for the platform.” The Wii U version won’t be free-to-play, or free-to-start as it’s being called, but will include both a single player story mode and a multiplayer mode.
Devil’s Third will be launching on Wii U in Europe and Japan this August, and in the Americas in the fourth quarter of 2015.
