This is Now the Most Requested Backwards Compatible Xbox Game

Red Dead Redemption was originally the most requested game for backwards compatibility for the Xbox One and had remained in the top spot from almost the beginning, but now it’s been overtaken by… Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Soon after Microsoft announced backwards compatibility for Xbox One, Black Ops 2 was actually the most requested game for a very short period of time, since then Rockstar’s western open world title took the top spot. Now it seems Call of Duty fans are back in force and want Black Ops 2 on Xbox One more than anything else.

This likely comes in anticipation for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 this November, though with around 100 games coming “this holiday” you’ll probably have Black Ops 3 in your hands before then.

Here’s the current top 15:

  1. Call of Duty: Black Ops II
  2. Red Dead Redemption
  3. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  5. Halo: Reach
  6. Call of Duty: Black Ops
  7. Gears of War 3
  8. Fallout 3
  9. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  10. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
  11. Mass Effect 3
  12. Call of Duty: World at War
  13. BioShock Infinite
  14. Fallout: New Vegas
  15. Left 4 Dead 2

With Activision being pestered a lot for a Call of Duty remaster, this might be the next best think for fans of the series’ as all Activision need to do is give Microsoft the permission to have these games made compatible.
