Remember all that drama behind Silent Hills, otherwise known as P.T. which was cancelled then removed fully from the PlayStation Network. Well now there may be something better on the horizon and it has a much more deceptive name.
Allison Road sounds pretty quaint, right? But what’s actually in store for you is a spiritual successor to the now defunct Silent Hills Playable Teaser. So don’t be glum, Allison Road could be the next great survival horror title.
The game is being created by fans of P.T. with it taking some inspiration from the Silent Hills demo. The UK studio named Lilith Ltd. are hoping to fill that empty hole where P.T. used to be.
It’s a first person game which is currently in pre-alpha. Players take the role of an unnamed protagonist waking up in a strange home with no memory, but all is not what it seems, first of all, it’s based in one British townhouse which is “your British townhouse”.
The game’s description reads:
Over the course of five nights it is your objective to uncover the whereabouts of your family, unravel the mysteries of the house, and face off against Lily and other dark entities that are nested deep within its walls, while the clock is relentlessly ticking towards 3:00am. What would you do if you could feel something stalking you in the dark in the safety of your own home? If you couldn’t tell what’s real and what’s not?
The trailer, which you can see above, is made entirely of gameplay, but the developers have revealed that none of it will appear in the final game to keep the story under wraps.
So, what do you think? Creepy enough?
