It’s here, it’s finally here! Here’s the first gameplay footage for the first Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater title in 13 years! And no, this isn’t early alpha footage, apparently the game is going to look like this…
Now, I’m trying my best not to convey my disappointment at this gameplay trailer, but just look at it. It’s just so… flat?
The trailer, which you can see above, shows off some of the game’s environments, pro and secret skaters, as well as revealing that you can also create your own character, and looks a lot like a homage to Pro Skater games of the past, so much so that you wouldn’t be mistaken if you thought this was a Pro Skater game from the past.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is expected to arrive in Europe on October 2 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Details for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are expected to arrive soon.
Here’s some more screenshots for the game too, which look a little more in-line with what I’ve been expecting, so I’m not sure what the hell that above video is all about.
