UK Gaming Charts: F1 2015 Speeds into Pole Position

The Batman has been knocked from first place this week as Codemaster’s F1 series speeds into the charts knocking Batman Arkham Knight down to second.

This is the first all-formats number 1 for the F1 series since F1 2010 which launched in.. you guessed it, 2010. Launch week sales of F1 2015 are up by 367 per cent compared to last years entry into the series, likely due to its launch on current-gen platforms.

As for Batman Arkham Knight, sales are down by 54 per cent according to Chart-Track, falling to second place, with LEGO Jurassic World following closely behind.

There’s little movement in the rest of the top ten this week with The Elder Scrolls Online dropping one place to fourth, Grand Theft Auto V holding on tightly to fifth place, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in sixth place, pulling ahead of Minecraft for Xbox and PlayStation who are in seventh and eighth respectively.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Destiny round off the charts in ninth and tenth place respectively. With no other new entries this week, it’s been pretty quiet all-round.

Here’s the full rundown:

  1. F1 2015
  2. Batman: Arkham Knight
  3. LEGO Jurassic world
  4. The Elder Scrolls Online
  5. Grand Theft Auto V
  6. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
