Last week Big Ben Interactive unveiled WRC 5 as well as an alpha gameplay trailer for the new game. Back then we had nothing more than an “Autumn” release window. Now, the announcement trailer has been released as well as a more solid October release window.
In development by Kylotonn Games, WRC 5 is launching on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, and PC. The game’s announcement trailer has been released which shows the Ford Fiesta RS WRC from M-Ford World Rally Team, which oddly doesn’t look as good as the first gameplay trailer, but hey-ho, it’s early days yet.
In addition to the trailer, a butt load of screenshots have also been released which look much, much better.
“With these new trailer & screenshots, we want to show different locations and challenges that are waiting for players” says Alain Jarniou, WRC 5 Game Director. “From the frozen roads and snow banks of Sweden, to the narrow and sandy lines of Sardinia, or even the fast technical sections of Finland, we really want to put players into real drivers’ gloves. That’s why we worked hard to recreate the special atmosphere at each of the 13 rallies that makes the WRC so diverse.”
