Larian Studios has this week unveiled a brand new trailer for their upcoming console-release, Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, which brings “couch co-op” gameplay with local split-screen multiplayer.

In the Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition players will be able to explore the universe alone or with a friend, exploring the various nooks and crannies of this vibrant world. Much like Traveller’s Tale’s LEGO video games, local co-op will bring players to the same screen when close together, which will then split off when the two separate as they explore the world alone.

Working together players can blast their way through enemies while exploring Rivellon and can take part in two distinct modes depending players’ play styles. From Explorer mode which will offer an adventure with a bit of a challenge, or Tactician Mode that’ll throw more battles at you than you can shake a stick at.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition launches on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
