Xenoblade Chronicles X has been on the minds of fans for a while now, with the massive title being released in Japan earlier in the year, and the rest of the world has been waiting to find out when we’ll get our grubby mitts on it.
Well wait no more.
In a tweet in the wee hours of the morning today, Nintendo UK has officially confirmed a release date for Europe: 4 December this year!

Nintendo Australia later confirmed that the Aussie release will take place the day after Europe (as has become custom), on 5 December.
This will be a huge title for the Wii U which has flagged a bit in popularity due to a lack of games at release and throughout the console’s life. I’d like to predict though, that more quality titles will keep coming and that your Wii U is still worth hanging on to. With Star Fox on the way, and also a sneaky announcement for Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, the latter part of the year should prove a good one for Nintendo.
