As of late, Bossa Studios aren’t exactly known for their more serious games and with the likes of Surgeon Simulator and I Am Bread, you probably wouldn’t expect their next game to be an ambitious MMO, would you?
Well that’s exactly what the guys over at Bossa have been working on, though you already knew that, didn’t you?
Worlds Adrift was announced just before Christmas last year with the hopes of being a rather ambitious and adventurous MMO where players traverse between floating islands using grappling hooks.
It’s been a little while since we’ve actually seen anything solid for the game, though the game’s blog and the developers have been posting the occasional update.
Now however we’ve got a new trailer showing off the game’s physics systems that’ll be the core focus of the game and will play a huge part in the way players interact with the world and each other. All of the footage above was recorded with read players too, which is also a bonus.
Though the game doesn’t yet have a release date, you can opt in to the game’s website for early access, meaning you’ll get access to the game before release, plus you can secure that oh-so-unique username. In addition to this the new Worlds Adrift forums have also been opened.
An early access release is expected some time this year.
