Garry’s Mod, the mod of Team Fortress 2 which has a complete life of its own now, could be getting a sequel, probably. What we know for sure is that it definitely won’t be called Garry’s Mod 2.
If you’ve ever seen a ridiculously hilarious gameplay video which involved Team Fortress 2 characters doing stupid things and often having really overly expressive faces, chances are it’s something out of Garry’s Mod, a mod which launched for Team Fortresss 2 over 11 years ago and has since become its own entity.
In the near future though, a sequel could launch, thanks to an interview with creator Garry Newman by PCGamesN.
“We wouldn’t raise the price now,” explained Newman when asked if he planned to up the price of the game because of how in-depth it has become. “I mean we’re kind of working on a sequel, so it’d be stupid to the raise the price, really.”
Don’t expect it any time soon though, as he explained that “it’s early days,” and that “we’re looking at having more VR stuff in it – that’s the big point of it. And it won’t be called Garry’s Mod 2.”
So, Garry’s Mod VR?
