With Dragon Age: Inquisition’s final DLC launching a few weeks back, it’s now time for EA to repackage the game, bundle it with all of the DLC previously released, and slap a Game of the Year tag on it.
Set to launch on October 6 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, the role-playing fantasy game’s Game of the Year Edition will feature the base game along with every DLC expansion launched since its release in November 2014; Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent, and Tresspasser, the last of which only launched on September 8.
Additional character customisation options will also be available in the new GOTYE as it’ll also include the Spoils of the Avvar, Spoils of the Qunari and Deluxe Edition DLC packs.
To be fair, Dragon Age: Inquisition did receive over 130 Game of the Year awards last year, that is according to BioWare, so it’s only fair a Game of the Year Edition is due for release a little under a year after its launch, plus it’s a great chance for players like me, who haven’t played it, to pick it up.
If you’re still unsure, BioWare have offered a number of reasons why you should pick up the Game of the Year Edition.
