EA Games is holding a closed beta for Need for Speed at some point this month and sign ups have now been opened, but there’s one problem, you’ll need a console in order to get behind the wheel.
If you’ve been looking to get an early hands-on with Need for Speed, there’s good news, EA Games is planning on holding a closed beta for the game. Sign ups have been opened and players can choose which platform they’d like to take part in the beta on, though it’s currently only limited to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
You’ll also need an EA/Origin account linked to either a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
The sign-up page is also via the UK version of the site, but in the terms and conditions it does mention that it’ll be available in other territories such as the United States and Canada.
Sign ups for the beta close on September 25 which suggests the beta could be held just after this time ahead of the game’s November launch, either that, or it’ll be held on or around the 25th.
Need for Speed is expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 3. Sign up for the closed beta here.
