Halo Waypoint has updated the community with a post on all changes coming to the multiplayer matchmaking in Halo: Master Chief Collection’s horde of content from Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4.
Multiple playlists are going to see some updates, including a tweak to Team Doubles that makes Halo 2 maps appear less frequently, and Team Hardcore featuring more variety in Halo 3 maps. There’ll also be five maps that support new gamemodes and Team Action Sack will allow up to eight people rather than just four.
Full details and patch notes will be release closed to the content patch’s release, but this little teaser is enough to keep Halo fans keen on the incoming update. Despite the game’s rocky launch and issues, which have been fixed, 343 continue to support their grand celebration of all things Halo.
Halo 5: Guardians on the other hand, releases on October 27th for Xbox One.
