Let’s face it, we’ve done a lot since the first Call of Duty: Black Ops game launched in 2010 and with many Call of Duty games in between, including a second Black Ops game, you’ve likely forgotten the story… Fortunately Treyarch are here to help you get back up to speed with the story.
With Black Ops being based mostly in the 1960s, then the second game jumping from 2025 to the 1970/80s, things may have gotten a little confusing. Now with the game set firmly in 2065, you’re probably unsure as to what the hell is going on, considering how Black Ops 2 ended.
The trailer, which you can see above, squeezes the past 112 years in just 10 minutes, and if you’re yet to play any of the Black Ops games, it’s worth noting that there are spoilers, lots of them.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches on November 6 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game is set to include a co-op campaign for the first time, and it already looks to be pretty great.
