Many are still unhappy with Atari’s RollerCoaster Tycoon World, so in an effort to try and win those die-hard fans back, the publisher has released a new behind the scenes trailer showing some updated gameplay.
Following fan outcry from the first video of RollerCoaster Tycoon World the developers announced a number of changes that were going to take place to ensure the game is what fans expect. They even went as far to say “We will not release the game until we know that it is truly ready.”
To update fans on the game’s current status, a new behind the scenes trailer shows off some of the things the developers have been doing, from some of the major technical refinements they’ve brought to the game, to enhanced AI, a terrain deformation tool, Steam Workshop support, and more, including a coaster editor that offers more flexibility than those in past games.
In addition to the technical side of things, Atari also revealed that they’ve partnered with popular US theme park corporation, Six Flags, with them offering the developers access to the company’s technical expertise and real-world data, such as schematics, coaster designs, and visitor traffic patterns.
Originally set for mid-2015, following fan criticism there’s currently no set release date for RollerCoaster Tycoon World.
