Nintendo Says Goodbye to Club Nintendo in the Best Way Possible

Club Nintendo has been slowly dying for the last couple of months since Nintendo announced that they planned to close Club Nintendo in favour of a new product which is expected to take its place later this year.

As the clock ticks closer to the end, Nintendo has just added a commemorative product for users to blow their last remaining starts onto, and that’s this gorgeous “Goodbye Coin”. It’ll cost you just 2,000 stars and is being described by Nintendo as a “commemorative thank you”.

This silver-plated coin is stamped with Mario and Luigi waving, as well as “thank you” written in Japanese. On the other side is the Club Nintendo logo.

With Nintendo’s new Loyalty Program in the works, now’s your chance to spend your last remaining stars before it closes for good on September 30.
