The developers behind the open world Utopian Survival/Horror/FPS; P.A.M.E.L.A, have released the Rebirth Trailer today. Although the release date for the game isn’t specific, we’re told that it will be released in 2016.
Deus Ex, Mass Effect, and Bioshock have all inspired P.A.M.E.L.A. to be what it is today. As written on their Steam Greenlight page, NVYVE studios says:
It investigates the underlying fault in humanity’s craving for technological and biological advancement.
In addition to the AI overseer; Pamela, the Rebirth trailer introduces players to very complex, personality-driven AI systems which they will encounter throughout the game. The game begins as a Sleeper awakes from Cryosleep in Eden; a fallen city riddled with death and danger that was once a Utopia. As a Sleeper, you will struggle to survive alongside P.A.M.E.L.A. as you explore and venture deeper into the once vibrant and lively Utopian City.
You’ll fight for your life as the broken citizens of Eden defend their home against your intrusion. Your aim is to uncover the events that lead to the tragic downfall of a city, and it’s civilization.
Each decision you make is meaningful and will impact your gameplay experience. Each encounter could be your last. Remain constantly involved in the world and don’t get stuck in the darkness. Can you survive?
