Aside from the nostalgic gameplay and the game’s questionable graphics, one of the other features coming in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is its online multiplayer for up to 20 players, something which is highlighted in a brand new trailer.
We’ve had a tough time trying to love Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. On one hand it has nostalgia inducing gameplay, on the other, it has dated graphics suited best for a mobile title. But the thought of playing that classic gameplay with 20 other people is starting to win me over…
… but those graphics!
In a brand new trailer for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 you get to see a lot less gameplay this time around and a lot more live-action skateboarding. There’s also a brief glimpse at the park editor which can be used to create parks and share them with your friends.
From what we’ve seen so far, it seems the game is aiming for the nostalgia vote, bringing classic gameplay with more modern features such as online play and map sharing. Here’s hoping it perfects the gap and doesn’t do a sloppy landing.
