EA and Ghost Games’ upcoming reboot of the Need for Speed series is set to launch next week, so to celebrate they’ve thrown out the launch trailer, a launch trailer which is made entirely of the in-game engine. Yes, it looks that good.
The game, simply called Need for Speed, is set to launch on November 3 and throws players into a world of decisions. With five unique ways to play, players can choose their own path by impressing five icons each with their own expertise, whether it’s being fast, having the best custom car in the lot, or running from the cops, there’s a play style for everyone.
What’s more, the aforementioned Icons are actually real-world icons such as Magnus Walker and Ken Block. Even more impressive is that all of the cards in-game, even during the cut-scenes are entirely in-engine. It’s a truly impressive looking game and I can’t wait to play it.
EA Games has already released the full list of cars that’ll be coming at launch all of which you can see here. What’s even more impressive is that every single car is unlocked from the very beginning, the only thing that stands in your way is the cash to purchase them which you earn by winning races and impressing fans.
