Earlier this week Io Interactive unveiled a brand new trailer for Hitman’s ‘Sapienza’ map, the second location of three that’ll be coming to the game at launch, and as you’d expect, it’s a stunner.
The trailer, which you can see above, whisks players off to Sapienza, a fictional town based on the southern coast of Italy. According to Io Interactive, the location is “expansive” and is filled with “dark secrets and engaging stories”. Once again players are left free to roam the town as they execute their mission however they see fit.
From what Square Enix has said about the map, Sapienza is set to be pretty exciting to explore, with luxurious mansions, medieval churches, all of which sits off a gorgeous beachfront, players have a lot at their disposal.
Though the game was set to launch in parts, Io Interactive decided to delay the game slightly to offer even more content for players at launch with a choice of two games for players to purchase, more on that can be found here.
The next location to be unveiled is Morocco, another map that’ll be coming at launch. As for post-release support, players will also be taken to locations in Thailand, The USA, and Japan.
Hitman is set to launch digitally on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 11, 2016, with a retail release to follow.
