It might be sometime until we see a Borderlands 3 but fear not as 2K Games has announced a new Borderlands bundle pack by the name of the Borderlands Triple Pack.

The Borderlands Triple Pack, as you might guess, comes with Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel along with all of the DLC released to date for the three named games. Which is worth pointing out ia serious number of content which all is worth your time regardless.

Though this is a nice follow up to the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection which only contained Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. The down side however to the Borderlands Triple Pack is that it will be releasing on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 with no word on a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One release as of yet. Given the success of Borderlands however and this bundle we can only hope to see a next gen announcement in due time.

If your an Xbox One owner however then you may or may not have known that Borderlands is soon to be a supported backwards compatible title on the Xbox One. PlayStation 4 owners as you may know, won’t be having the same experience any time soon if ever with backwards compatiblity.

The Borderlands Triple Pack is a strong bundle regardless of the platform choice and is worth picking up if you have ever been on the fence about the Borderlands series. If for those who own one or all Borderlands games it is still a great deal with all the DLC.

The next Borderlands game is in development the hope is that developer Gearbox will really step up the series to new heights and blow the other three games out of the water. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel was met with mixed feelings from both press and gamers alike so fingers crossed that the fourth entry in the series will turn things around.

For now though the Borderlands Triple Pack will be releasing on November 17th for around $50. No word on a UK release date or price as of yet.
