Steam has once again smashed is concurrent user record this weekend with the platform having over 13 million players were on Steam at around 10:30 am on November 1, 2015.
According to the Steam Stats Page, on November 1 a total of 13,480,916 players had logged into Steam. Of those games possibly being played, as you might expect DOTA 2 was the most popular with 824,975 players, then CS:GO with 790,795 players.
Steam’s previous concurrent player record was around 10.7 million in October, 10 million in June, and 9.5 million as far back as May this year. That’s a pretty impressive growth in just a single month, with over 2 million new players logging on at the same time.
Steam recently revealed that there’s over 125 million active steam accounts, with the latest figure representing around 10 per cent of that number who are online at the same time. A small number, sure, but that’s still a hell of a lot of gamers.
