In the race to get gaming VR up and running, the technology has been hard to show off and quantify for those not actually using units. However, Microsoft has found what seems to be a good solution through their HoloLens project. With impressive videos from E3 and tech demos showing concept, we have yet another cool video to add to the bunch.
Varun Mani, the project manager for HoloLens, posted a video to YouTube showing off a small, but insanely cool feature they have been working on. In the video, Mani is playing a round of Halo 5 on his big screen, and decides he wants to ‘re-locate’ his TV to play on another wall.
“Wish you could take Halo with you everywhere you go? Now you can with HoloLens! #MadeWithHoloLens” is the only description accompanying the video, so not too many details or context are available yet. However, with huge gaming support from Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, and even the CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella, it’s sure to make a huge splash on Xbox One as Microsoft tries to drum up even more record-breaking sales to catch the run-away PS4 sales figures.
