Good news Xbox One players, the critically acclaimed overnight hit that is Rocket League, will finally be gracing its presence on the Xbox One in February next year!

Following the game’s rating for Xbox One being leaked a little early, Psyonix confirmed at The Game Awards 2015 that the car football game will be coming to Xbox One in 2016. Not only that, but players will be able to make the most of two exclusive vehicles too.

The Xbox One version will be pretty much the same game currently available on the PlayStation 4 and PC with some added bonuses including two Battle-Cars: The Halo “HogSticker” and the Gears of War “Armadillo”.

The game will be coming to Xbox One via the [email protected] self-publishing program. There’s currently no word on whether cross-platform play will be coming to PC/Xbox One.

It’ll be priced the same as the PC/PS4 versions and will come with all of the same content too. You’ll even be able to purchase the Back to the Future Car Pack on day-one.

“Our goal with Rocket League is to continually improve, grow, and evolve the game while keeping its core fundamentals in focus,” said Dave Hagewood, Studio Director and CEO, Psyonix. “With our new Xbox One version, fans will not only get some great exclusives and a great value, but also, the kind of multiplayer gameplay that has made Rocket League a great passion for our players and for us.”
